Speaking truth and holding space for others is my priority and purpose in this practice. I find joy in empowering others and creating spaces to achieve balance, promote wellness, and foster healthy relationships.
Hello! My name is Melanie Lapeyrolerie, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Los Angeles, California. I offer in-person therapy in West Los Angeles and telehealth services to clients throughout the state. I work with a diverse range of individuals, from young adults to seniors aged 18 to 71. My specialties include treating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and alcohol and substance use disorders. To support my clients in enhancing their daily lives and overall well-being, I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness, among others.
Helping You Heal, Grow, and Thrive
Empowering my clients to become the best version of themselves is not just my work — it’s my passion. I believe everyone can benefit from the support, insight, and encouragement of a trained therapist at different points in life.
I have extensive experience working with individuals navigating addiction, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, and thought disorders. If you’re feeling stuck, uncertain about your goals, or unsure how to move forward, I can help you find clarity and momentum. My approach is strengths-based, encouraging, and deeply collaborative — my clients often share that our work together feels both impactful and transformative.

I specialize in using body-based approaches clients move through Trauma, Loss and Grief. My training is in holistic Somatic Psychotherapy. I offer Brainspotting and Ketamine-assisted and psychedelic integration work. I support clients to heal from loss and trauma, improve your relationship with yourself and your relationships with others. If you are tired of talking about the same issues week after week without real change, let's work together toward deeper processing and accelerated healing.
I work with women of color who are tired of always being the strong one. If you’re carrying old wounds that still feel fresh, stuck in patterns that don’t even feel like yours, or wondering when it’s finally your turn to be cared for; I’m here for that. You won’t have to code-switch with me. Let’s set down the masks you wear just to move through the day.
In this space, you get to be fully seen--the soft parts, the angry parts, the parts you’ve hidden just to keep the peace. All of you is welcome here. Together, we’ll make room for the messy, the painful, and the hopeful parts of your story, at a pace that feels right for you. Healing doesn’t have to be perfect; it just has to start with a space where you’re safe to be real.
