I work to meet clients wherever they are at emotionally and identify their goals so that we can work together to create the best life possible for them. I have experience working with all ages and walks of life, from first responders and caretakers to teenagers and families. I come from a family of helpers and have a deep understanding of how traumatic experiences can destabilize people's well-being. I am here to work as a guide, not a teacher, and believe that all healing is done by the patient. I seek to empower my patients and show them their inner strength that was there all along.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with women, and female-identifying clients, (18+) who want to heal their relationship with their bodies and uncover their authentic identity in order to build lasting self-worth and empowerment in all areas of life. I want to help women feel powerful, worthy, and confident and finally shed narratives of shame and perfectionism that hinder self-perception. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English from Pepperdine University and my Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University. I have had clinical experience in a range of different non-profit, healthcare, and treatment agency settings that provided me with invaluable training to help clients feel empowered and make lasting changes.
Two personal virtues I value greatly are learning and curiosity. I will bring these two attitudes to the therapy room and with you to ensure that we develop concepts and theory that fits your experiences. I am currently completing my PhD in Counselor Education with my dissertation focusing on neuroscience-informed treatment. Our internal signals are as powerful as our external reactions. Together, we can use these techniques to quantify treatment!
I'm a relationship therapist, couples counselor and sex therapist who strives to create an inclusive environment so people and couples of all backgrounds can feel safe, supported, and free to be honest about their experiences. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and beyond who are motivated to increase emotional safety, rebuild trust, navigate life transitions, openly communicate and rebuild emotional and sexual intimacy.
I am a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed therapist who specializes in working with children, teens, and families. I have extensive experience supporting clients with autism, adhd, anxiety, big emotions, and challenging behaviors. I also enjoy providing parent support and coaching.
As a parent of 2 neurodivergent children, I bring both professional expertise and lived empathy to my work. I offer telehealth (primary) in-home, and community-based sessions so I can meet clients where they feel most comfortable.
I am accepting new clients for tele-health appointments. I provide medication management for: anxiety, depression, bipolar, and/or ADHD. I have after-hour appointments and Saturday availability.
I began my professional life as an actress and gather learning from that career to use therapeutically. I am creative, playful and eclectic in my approach. I graduated Naropa University MA in Transpersonal Counseling with a focus on Art Therapy. Colorado Counseling for addictions training and Integrative Psychiatry Institute for training in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy
My therapy style is centered on warmth, empathy, and inclusivity. Drawing from my extensive experience working with diverse populations, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where everyone feels heard, valued, and understood. Everyone brings unique experiences, and my goal is to ensure that our work together honors your cultural, spiritual, and personal life story.
