My career began in 1997 as an AmeriCorps member working in harm reduction during the peak of new HIV infections. Since then, I've held many roles as a proud social worker. I have been a therapist for 18 years, with extensive training & experience in harm reduction therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD. I have lived experience with mental health challenges and treatment
I have worked and lived in:
Ultimately, I believe we are all human—doing our best to live meaningful lives in a beautiful yet challenging world. I practice with this mindset and with the belief in our innate capacity to heal when given the right support and guidance. My therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate, and client-centered. I view my clients as the experts in their own lives, holding the answers within themselves. While finding this path can be difficult, with the right support, growth and transformation are truly possible.
I am a licensed therapist in New Jersey (LPC) and New York (LMHC), with specialized training in the treatment of trauma, anxiety disorders, and depression. I am certified to provide Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) to help reduce symptoms of depression, trauma, and other forms of emotional distress. Additionally, I am certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)—a therapeutic intervention that supports nervous system regulation through filtered music.
I hold a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Forensics and Addiction, as well as additional certification in trauma treatment. With over ten years of experience in the field, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices in my work. My experience spans diverse settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practice.

with 15 years of experience in mental health, I lead a muti-clinician practice of caring professionals dedicated to providing personable, compassionate, solution focused, care. My staff and I take pride in providing services through meaningful connection and research driven approaches.
As a licensed clinical social worker I believe that connecting deeply with yourself creates a more grounded and fulfilling life. As both a therapist and a yoga instructor, I take a holistic approach—integrating mind, body, and emotional awareness. I enjoy supporting people as they create space in their lives for experiences to shape them rather than define them, helping them move toward clarity, balance, and greater well-being.
I received my B.S. in Psychology and my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida. I have a history of working in community mental health and in private practice. I have experience that allows me to meet a client where they are whether that means working through daily life challenges or healing from a lifetime of complex trauma.
