My approach to therapy is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in both evidence-based practices and real human connection. I believe that no two people are the same, so therapy should not be one-size-fits-all. I work closely with each client to understand their experiences, goals, and strengths, and tailor my approach accordingly.
I tend to be warm, direct, and engaged in sessions. I value honesty and open communication, and I encourage clients to share feedback so we can adjust the process to best meet their needs. Therapy is a space where you should feel safe, respected, and understood.
I draw from a variety of approaches depending on what is most helpful, including CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Gottman methods for couples work. Whether we are working through trauma, relationship challenges, substance use, or life stressors, my goal is to help you gain insight, build practical tools, and move forward in a way that feels sustainable and meaningful.
What can clients expect from their first session with you?People can expect a little break down of helpful ways to "do therapy." If the client is interested, I can give more information about myself, otherwise, depending on the client's comfort level, I will start asking questions about their life from birth to now, their support systems, work, what brought them to seek therapy, and things of that nature to help paint a picture of who they are so I know best how to help.

Your mind and body are speaking—are you listening? As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in high-stakes intensive care, I understand what many overlook: mental and physical health are inseparable.
In critical care, I saw how stress, trauma, and anxiety manifest in the body—tight chests, sleepless nights, unexplained pain. And when the pandemic hit, I witnessed the silent emotional suffering of patients, families, and healthcare workers alike. That moment changed everything.
I chose psychiatry because healing your mind is just as vital as healing your body. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or like no one sees what you’re carrying—you don’t have to hold it alone. I’m here to help you reconnect, restore, and rise.

I am a recovering perfectionist, anxious mom, and lover of a slow-paced life. Outside of session, I’m wrangling my young kids and doing my best to embrace our chaos. I enjoy being in nature, watching the latest documentary, and curating mood-setting playlists.
