I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist in New York State and a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist. I have worked in the mental health field for five years, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My perspective is grounded in the belief that our bodies come with us through our whole lives and have stories to tell.
I lead with curiosity and sensitivity and approach my work with a desire to understand. In a time when so much can feel separating and isolating, I invite us to find ways to remain connected.
I’m a person in long-term recovery, which means I’ve been substance-free since July 13th, 2016. My experiences with depression, anxiety, and self-medicating eventually became a substance use disorder—and ultimately led me to a deeper purpose in the counseling field. I understand the weight of isolation, low self-worth, and the struggle to feel “okay.” If you’re dealing with anxiety, self-image issues, substance use, relationship challenges, or overwhelming stress, I offer not just professional tools—but personal understanding. I can help you feel less alone.
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for support takes courage, and my goal is to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and empowered. I believe therapy is a collaborative process—we’ll work together to better understand your challenges, uncover patterns, and build on your strengths so you can move toward lasting change. I specialize in psychodynamic therapy with individuals, helping clients explore how their past and present experiences shape their thoughts, feelings, and relationships. I aim to provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment where we can work side by side toward meaningful growth.
I work with a variety of individuals from adolescence through adults. We may be a good fit if you; have experienced trauma, are a young adult struggling with the quarter life crisis, are experiencing an unhealthy relationship(s) or struggling to set boundaries, are a parent seeking support and education, are an adult with ADHD, are an over thinker/perfectionist, have anxiety, are going through a divorce/separation or break up, or just want to learn to manage emotional discomfort with more ease.
