I'm an affirming, inclusive, anti-racist christian who helps adult women recover from trauma of different types. I am trained in EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Trauma-focused Narrative therapy. I also have familiarity with Internal Family Systems Therapy. I've been in practice since 2004.
Greetings! Therapy is a team effort - no one should face life’s challenges alone. I work with people from all walks of life – teens, young adults, older adults, veterans, a diversity of races, ethnicities, religions, sexualities, gender identities, socio economic statuses, and worldviews. I have knowledge and experience working with people struggling with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Trauma and Stress-related Disorders, Life Transitions, Grief, Chronic Illness and Pain, Identity Development, and Relationship Dynamics.
If you are seeking a supportive, judgment-free zone to sort through challenges, get unstuck, and become the best version of yourself, you’ve come to the right place. I welcome you to get curious as we uncover what makes you “you” and discover methods that will lead you to fulfillment and peace. Allow me to walk with you, you don’t have to walk alone.
I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can show up just as you are. I work with people navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions—especially those feeling stuck or overwhelmed by change. Healing starts with feeling heard, and that’s at the heart of my approach. With over a decade of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, I’m here to walk beside you—with compassion, presence, and evidence-based tools for healing.
Hello there! Whether you are new to therapy or returning, I would be happy to walk with you on your therapy journey. Sometimes we feel a little lost and are unsure where to begin. These feelings can be overwhelming and discouraging. For the past five years I have enjoyed working in private practice with people who may be similar to you. People navigating through anxiety, OCD, depression, grief, relationship issues, challenges regulating emotions, and more.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience
working in the field of mental health. I am also a Registered Nurse. I have a passion for
assisting people who seek relief from any type of trauma or PTSD, and desire to help those
with any chronic emotional or physical pain, anxiety, depression, difficulties at work or with relationship
stress. I obtained my Master’s degree in Counseling/Community Psychology from Marist College.
It’s wonderful to connect with you!

Welcome to Brain Balance Psychiatry, an integrative psychiatric model, based on provider-client alliance. Experience a collaborative partnership where you feel supported and empowered by your provider.
Hello there! I am so very proud of you for taking a step towards gaining new coping skills, improving self-awareness and having improved mental health. Most therapist would like to have a motivated client who picks up on therapeutic concepts easily, but that's not how this thing works! I meet you where you currently are and I am prepared to walk beside you on this therapeutic journey.
I specialize in OCD, as well as generalized anxiety and body-focused repetitive behaviors. I will help you understand that it is OCD, not you, that is creating these distressing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I primarily utilize exposure and response prevention (ERP) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to work with these diagnoses.
