As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 16 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most vulnerable moments. My work has focused on caregiver burnout, aging and end-of-life issues, veteran support, adjustment to new or serious medical diagnoses, and family conflict. My background also includes working with foster children, foster/adoptive parents, and parents of children with ADHD, as well as helping immigrants and expatriates navigate culture shock and identity adjustment.
I’m a counselor with 18 years of experience working with people of all ages, including children, teens, adults, and older adults. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating ADHD, anxiety, grief, trauma and PTSD, career challenges, school issues, self-esteem, and major life transitions. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of their next step, and they’re looking for a place where they can finally feel understood.
My style is often described as authentic, intelligent, and inspiring. I’ve worked in many different mental health settings including schools, inpatient and outpatient programs, juvenile detention, universities, prisons, and private practice. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of how people’s needs change throughout life.
My goal is to meet you where you are and help you build the tools you need to move forward with more confidence and peace.
Discover your highest potential with me as your therapist. I specialize in depression and anxiety, but my expertise goes beyond. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and confidence. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, bringing a depth of knowledge, strong clinical skills, and genuine compassion to my work with clients.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University in 2015 and completed my Master’s Degree in Counseling at Edinboro University in 2020. During my graduate training, I worked full-time as a school-based therapist, where I developed specialized experience supporting children and adolescents coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.
My graduate-level internship at Juniata College further strengthened my clinical skills with college-aged individuals, helping them manage academic pressure, identity development, relationships, and emotional wellbeing.
I have been practicing mental health counseling since 2019 in a variety of settings. I enjoy working with adolescents, teens, and adults to overcome life stress, adjust to hard circumstances, and manage anxiety! I have a Master's degree in Counseling from West Chester University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Penn State University. I have a special focus on treating anxiety disorders, depression, difficult adjustment to life changes (i.e. high school, college), and trauma, grief, and other life stressors.
Reaching out for help is a courageous first step—one you should be proud of.
I am a trauma-informed, Jungian-oriented psychotherapist with analytic training. My work is grounded in depth psychology and an understanding of how past experiences shape present patterns.
I specialize in personality disorders and am certified in this area, as well as in grief work. Anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges are often interconnected with these concerns and are an integral part of the work we do together.
I have a wealth of experience working with adults, teenagers, children, and families. I have helped many clients living with and/or experiencing overwhelming depression, overwhelming anxiety, ADHD, interpersonal relationship issues, parenting problems, low self-esteem, and difficulty managing anger. Currently, my work is focused on diagnosis and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorders for First Responders and Veterans. If your symptoms do not support such a diagnosis, I will suggest that you locate another provider of your choice.
