Welcome to therapy!
You have made the right decision by being here. I'm a seasoned Clinical Therapist with 15 years of experience. I have worked with Veterans, men, women and children in the criminal justice system, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes and schools. I have a BA in Behavioral Science and a MA in Social Work, I'm board certified in Addiction and Mental Health.
Are you feeling stuck in patterns you can’t break, overwhelmed by anxiety, or healing from relationships that left lasting wounds? My name is Amy, and I’m a licensed professional counselor in West Chester, Pennsylvania. I support adolescents and adults working through anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, and substance use concerns.
My approach is trauma-informed, LGBTQ-affirming, and deeply collaborative. I prioritize emotional safety, empowerment, and choice—meeting you exactly where you are. Together, we’ll explore what you want to shift or strengthen and set goals that feel meaningful to you, whether that’s rebuilding self-esteem, improving communication and relationships, or interrupting long-standing patterns that no longer serve you.
Reaching out for support takes real courage. You don’t have to navigate this alone. I’m here to offer steady guidance, compassion, and evidence-based tools as you move toward greater balance, connection, and self-trust.
Are you having trouble in life or in your relationships? I can offer the effective and compassionate support you need. I help clients to build rich, meaningful lives that are psychologically and physically more healthful. I earned my Master's degree in clinical social work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014, and have over a decade of experience treating people presenting with a diverse range of psychological and emotional challenges. I specialize in helping people to heal their relationships and change destructive cycles. I honor the courage it takes for people to come to therapy and explore difficult issues, and strive to create a safe and empowering environment for my clients.
