Hi, I obtained my bachelor's degree in art with a focus on Psychology and a master's in counseling. I am also nationally certified as a trauma therapist. I have served many populations ranging from children as young as 4 to people transitioning in end of life care. I have worked in the non-profit sector, private practice and as a mental health presenter. These experiences have provided me with opportunities to serve diverse populations with an array of needs.
It is no longer acceptable to suffer in silence. Regardless of your age, your friends, your family and what your peers may say, asking for help takes a lot more courage than suffering in silence. There is no shame in taking control of your life and making the courageous decision to want and expect more joy and peace in your life. I believe in empowering individuals to take inventory and control of their lives. Things can always be better and it is up to you to determine when, where and what that looks like. It is my joy and responsibility to help bring about the ‘how.'
I am passionate about helping adolescents, individuals, couples and families find their inner strengths to bring about the change they want in their lives through a wide variety of evidence-based theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and others.
The therapeutic process is an amazing journey of personal growth and insight. You are the captain of your ship. The beginning of your new journey can start today.
