I am a former teacher and missionary. I have been counseling since 2003. My counseling style is warm, authentic, and non-judgmental. I believe in treating everyone with respect. We can address current or unresolved issues from your past. I can also counsel from a Christian-based standpoint if preferred. I am licensed to counsel Texas residents, and my practice is via telehealth. We can meet weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
With the right help, I firmly believe anyone who is willing to put in some hard work can increase their self-knowledge, grow in the understanding of other perspectives, heal wounds, and cultivate meaningful relationships. I hope to truly get to know you and hear your story so that I can help you find fulfillment and growth in a very challenging world.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of clinical experience in mental health. I enjoy working with clients in a collaborative manner on several issues including stress management, relationship issues, identity concerns, LGBTQ+ issues and more.
I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Social Work. While working with a wide range of populations, including teenagers, couples, and substance-using populations, I have had the opportunity to work with middle, and high school students in a school.
I moved to Texas in 2021 with my three youngest children (15, 16, and 20). I’m so excited to be back near the Latino culture, While I’m not there yet, my goal is to regain my previous Spanish language skills and become more fluent!
