I am licensed in Texas with over 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, trauma, abuse, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, and depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
As a board certified psychotherapist, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I have 13 years of experience in the mental health field but more recently have focused on work with adult clients who have unresolved childhood trauma. I also enjoy helping clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, OCD, stress and life transitions.
Are you ready to break free from the weight of past trauma and create lasting change? Are you feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression, or anger, struggling to find peace and connection? Together, we’ll work to heal emotional wounds, strengthen coping skills, and restore balance using trauma-focused, evidence-based approaches. My goal is to help you rediscover confidence, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose—empowering you to move forward with strength, self-compassion, and hope.
Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, especially when shaped by trauma, mood changes, substance use, or family conflict. Through CBT, REBT, and EMDR, therapy offers space to heal, reframe negative thoughts, and release past pain. Together, we build resilience, balance, and peace through empathy, understanding, and growth.
I understand how exhausting it can feel to carry the weight of past pain. You may long for peace, balance, and connection but feel unsure where to begin. Healing is possible—you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we can create a safe, supportive space to process, rebuild, and move toward the life you truly deserve.
Hi, my name is Nicole Donahue and I have been a counselor since 2017. I am a graduate of UTSA. I have worked in various backgrounds from juvenile therapy, to veteran IOP, school behavioral counselor, and military community. I have focused on adjustment, grief and trauma when it comes to trainings. I cater my modality of treatment to the clients needs.
For me, helping others has always been deeply personal. I believe every person deserves to feel heard, seen, and understood. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston–Clear Lake. I enjoy working with individuals navigating chronic pain or illness, adjustment challenges, and caregiver burnout. I bring a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy and strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and respected as we work together toward meaningful and realistic goals.
Greetings. My name is Dennis Steelman. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). I carry two professional certifications in Mental Health Teletherapy (CTMH), and as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I hold a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Addictions Counseling. I obtained both graduate degrees from Liberty University.
My approach to therapy is mainly through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). CBT is a highly effective modality of treatment that is aimed at correcting negative beliefs and identifying negative thoughts. This is of course an oversimplification of CBT but illustrates the crux of what CBT looks like. EMDR is a highly effective treatment for PTSD and other trauma-related illnesses. EMDR is a specialized form of treatment that has been proven to not only be effective for the treatment of trauma, but emerging research also suggests EMDR is highly effective in the treatment of a wide array of illnesses.
I believe that therapy should carry certain expectations, just like any other form of treatment. An individual coming into treatment should expect to see positive results. An individual coming into treatment should expect to see progress in their treatment through a collaborative effort between the therapist and the client.
I chose to specialize in the treatment of trauma and related negative life events because of the damage they can do to the individual. It is my experience that those who have endured harmful life events are often locked into a pattern of negative thinking, believing, and behavior. I look forward to working with those individuals looking to break free of those patterns.
I have been working as an LPC since 2015. I was fully licensed in 2018 and have been working with individuals since then. I really enjoy working with pre-teens, teens and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, diagnosed or undiagnosed ADHD, and those experiencing change or transitions in life. My master's degree is in clinical psychology. I am certified through Texas Tech in applied behavioral analysis.
