Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing services in Florida and California. I graduated from Pace University and have been practicing as a clinician for 24 years. The decision to seek therapy can be hard and intimidating. My goal is to provide a space for exploration, reflection and growth.
I am a Latina bilingual therapist with 15 years of professional mental health experience. I specialize in working with people suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, difficulties with acculturation, work stress and domestic violence. I work with children/adolescents, parents, couples and individuals. I Graduated from Pacific Oaks College with a Masters Degree in Marriage Family Therapy with specialization in Latino/a Family Studies. I am passionate about working with families.
What draws me to this field is getting to work so closely with people to assist them in becoming the best versions of themselves. I obtained by BA in Psychology from San Diego State and my MA in MFT from Hope International. I had years of experience in community mental health, schools, and private practice. I have also worked with an array of demographics and cultures. Being a witness to my clients growing and thriving is the motivation that keeps me on this path today.
Trained in a State Hospital in a borough in New York City
Originally from Austria, I moved to the United States in 2017 on a full athletic scholarship for cross-country and track. As someone who grew up in Southeast Asia and completed my doctoral studies at Azusa Pacific University, I find it incredibly important to foster a safe, empowering, and culturally sensitive therapeutic space for people of all backgrounds to journey towards personal growth and healing.
I have over 7 years of clinical experience working with a diverse range of children, adolescents, and young adults dealing with life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, grief and loss, low self-esteem, and relational challenges.
