Makenna Briceno is a dedicated therapist committed to supporting individuals as they navigate life's challenges. She provides compassionate and evidence-based care to adolescents and adults, helping them build resilience and develop the tools needed to improve their well-being.
My name is Erika Ibarra and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Los Angeles County. I graduated from Mount Saint Mary's University and have been practicing for almost 11 years and licensed for 7 years.
As someone who grew up in Southeast Asia and completed my doctoral studies at Azusa Pacific University, I find it incredibly important to foster a safe, empowering, and culturally sensitive therapeutic space for people of all backgrounds to journey towards personal growth and healing.
I have over 7 years of clinical experience working with a diverse range of children, adolescents, and young adults dealing with life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, grief and loss, low self-esteem, and relational challenges.
I’m passionate about helping those seeking change in their lives. My education in multi-cultural counseling and social justice means that I approach each individual with empathy and awareness when it comes to navigating racial and gender identities, and life experiences. I understand we each have our own story and challenges, making the recovery and healing process unique for each of us. I help clients to identify and achieve small-scale, doable goals which build a foundation for lasting change.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping individuals, children, and families navigate life's challenges with strength and self-awareness. My style is collaborative, down-to-earth, and relational- I believe therapy should feel safe and empowering. Together, we'll explore on patterns, build resilience , and work toward meaningful change at your own pace.
