I am a dedicated mental health professional specializing in comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, strategic treatment planning, and collaborative care.
Since I was a just a small child I held deep empathy and curiosity for other human beings. Ultimately, this lead me to obtain my MSW with a concentration in mental health and sub-concentration in school social work. Along the way, I have worked in many different community-based settings (mobile crisis, K-12 schools, outpatient behavioral health, drop-in centers, residential settings, and complex trauma treatment centers) serving folks from across the lifespan, witnessing so much growth and resilience along the way. I am particularly well-equipped to support children, teens, young adults, and parents.
Hello, my name is Tyra Hughes and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I live and work in the Bay Area of California. A large part of my professional experience has been working with individuals and families who are struggling with relationship issues, parenting challenges, trauma, the justice system and intimate partner violence.
Hi there! My name is Kambria and I am here to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to process life's difficulties. Looking for a therapist is the first (and perhaps hardest) step towards a healthier and happier life... and I hope to be the person to help ease the rest of your way down that path.
I have experience working with new moms, foster/adoptive parents, those experiencing fertility challenges, first responders, chronically ill people and their caregivers, and grief and loss.
Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of courage and self-growth. Whether you’re seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, healing from life’s challenges, or navigating complex relationships, I offer a supportive and collaborative space to help you move toward greater balance and well-being. I recognize that today’s world presents unique stressors—financial pressures, rapid social changes, and the emotional weight of current events can all impact mental health. Therapy can be a grounding space to process these experiences and rediscover a sense of hope, purpose, and empowerment.
