I specialize in helping clients navigate grief, relational anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, self-doubt, low self-esteem, and the pressures that hold them back from living fully. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and deeply personal. With experience in working with PTSD, social anxiety, identity struggles, and the impact of divorce, I’m especially drawn to those who are ready to face challenges head-on to thrive, not just survive. I also offer Christian counseling for those wishing to integrate their faith, but all are welcome!
My passion lies in providing a safe and supportive space for individuals who are navigating difficult experiences. I approach this with empathetic listening and a fresh perspective, offering guidance and support through the toughest of times. Life challenges us with moments of stress, anxiety, depression, loss, and fear. During these times, it can feel like we're struggling to hold everything together. I know these moments intimately, and I understand the discomfort and frustration they bring.

Hello! My name is Jessica Woods and I am a licensed clinical social worker providing therapeutic services to adults dealing with challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma grief, and a variety of other mental health issues. I have over 10 years experience working as a medical social worker in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, and for the last three years, have focused on providing solely one-on-one therapy services to adults via telehealth. What I most enjoyed about being a medical social worker is when I got to work directly with patients and their families one-on-one, and so I have taken that love and channeled it into focusing on direct counseling full-time.
I’m a Colorado-based licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and work primarily with adults who are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected on the inside. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or life transitions, even while appearing capable and put-together to others. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to each individual, with an emphasis on understanding patterns, increasing self-awareness, and creating space for meaningful and lasting change.
Gwen earned her Undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in 2004 before earning her Masters in social work from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2018. She was a high school teacher and social worker in the public school system for 10 years. She has an active License in Clinical Social Work as well as a certificate in School Social Work, and experience providing social work services in the public school system and non-profit sector, with adolescents as well as adults.
My passion is working with individuals who are struggling with addiction, trauma, relationships, and attachment. I believe that it is every person's goal to feel more connected and attached to people in their life.
I believe that in order to help an individual heal and thrive, one must treat their mind, body, and spirit. I would love to connect with you!
