Hi, I’m Joelle Nagel, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s from the University of Denver. I have years of experience helping clients of all ages in schools and clinical settings. My specialties include Autism, trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, and behavior intervention. I’m passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where people can grow and heal. I blend compassion with structure, always meeting clients where they are.
I work with adults who want to get back in touch with what is most important to them to feel more connected to themselves and others. I can share techniques to manage anxiety, overcome past & present challenges, connect more authentically with others, and identify skills that will help you succeed in school, work and life. If you are struggling with trauma, grief, depression/anxiety or other mental/emotional stress, we will work together to find the tools that best support your well-being.
I am a PMHNP-BC, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for adults and adolescents. I combine clinical expertise with a holistic, faith-informed approach, emphasizing collaboration, education, and individualized treatment planning.
I'm a nature-based therapist who works with those struggling with attachment wounds, grief, identity & spiritual emergencies/distress, sexuality, PTSD, self-worth, depression, anxiety, and difficult life transitions. I hold and address these struggles from a social justice/anti-oppression lens in my work and don't shy away from acknowledging the profound psycho-spiritual impacts that the dominant culture has had on all of us, especially those who have been marginalized.
