I firmly believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, even when they feel stuck. I've always been drawn to understanding what makes people tick and what gets in the way of them living their best lives. I'm passionate about helping others improve their quality of life by providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, identify their strengths, and develop practical strategies for creating positive change. I see my role as a facilitator, guiding individuals on their own unique path to greater well-being and a sense of liberation from what holds them back.
Let me share some information about myself. I am a graduate from Brooklyn College for my BA degree and I attended NYU for my masters degree in social work. I have worked in different setting over the years and really enjoy working with all different age groups. I enjoy families, couples and individuals. I enjoy seeing the progress my clients make once they start to see their own patterns and what they feel they should change.
"Clients start to heal the moment they feel heard".
I earned my MSW from Rutgers University after changing from Engineering to Psychology during my undergraduate years. I primarily focus on trauma work but have a wide-ranging skillset and have worked with chronic pain, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, identity issues, relationship and communication issues, and more. I have worked with a variable population, of multiple genders, sexual orientations, races, and cultures; I am also LGBTQIA+, ENM, and kink affirming/supportive.
I have worked on my own growth and awareness since I was 19 yrs old. Therapy helped change my life and old patterns that I developed in my early years. I have made tremendous changes in who I am and how I cope. I would like to help you do that too.
Hello and Welcome,
I am a psychotherapist in New Jersey with several years of experience working with adults, children and families. I am warm, relaxed and interactive. I have a strong belief in treating others with kindness, compassion and respect. I do not pass judgement nor do I believe in stigmatizing labels.
I am warm, real, and deeply invested in your healing. I believe therapy is a safe relationship where you can explore, process, and grow without judgment. I won’t rush your story, but I will help you find meaning, clarity, and strength within it. My role is not to “fix” you, but to help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that already know how to heal.
I am a licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Pastoral Counselor, Approved Clinical Supervisor and a National Certified Counselor. My goal is to provide insight, tools and psychoeducation to help clients move beyond limiting beliefs and behaviors. I work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, OCD disorder, dual diagnosis, job loss, financial stress, self-esteem, stress management, Premarital, marriage and relationship counseling.
I believe therapy should be a safe space for you to work towards your goals, without any judgment. Rather than feeling alone, a therapist should assist you on your journey to build the life you have envisioned, while understanding that you are the expert in your own life. I will be that therapist for you. I am passionate about assisting others to understand how their past impacts their current, in order to move forward to their future. I have experience working with those who have experienced trauma, endure the daily challenges of depression, anxiety, ADHD, and borderline personality disorder, and/or deal with LGBTQ+ issues.
I’m someone who’s easy to talk to—warm, open, and without judgment. Over the years, I’ve walked alongside individuals, couples, and families as they’ve faced a wide range of challenges, and it’s been an honor to hold space for their stories. I deeply consider how our pasts—our upbringing, our relationships, our support systems—shape the way we experience the world and ourselves. My approach is both grounded and practical, yet gently focused on finding meaningful, real-life solutions. I believe healing happens not just through insight, but through connection, presence, and hope.
Taking the first steps and searching for a therapist to help you on your healing journey is a huge accomplishment! I am currently licensed in NJ and have been working in the field of mental health for about 8 years. I work with teens and adults with anxiety and/or neurodivergent disorders among other areas.
